2015 Dickens Dinner at Circa 1886 Restaurant

This December, Circa 1886 Restaurant will host a festive and memorable Christmastime dinner. Join us for the 14th Annual Dickens Dinner where Chef Marc Collins and Storyteller Tim Lowry will transport you to Victorian England for a spirited retelling of Charles Dickens’ treasured novella, “A Christmas Carol.” The performance is paired with a four-course dinner inspired by the novel, prepared by Chef Marc Collins.


This crowd-pleasing affair will be available on Thursday, December 10, 2015 and Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Come prepared for a delicious dinner and an unforgettable evening. Take a look at Chef Collins’ English-inspired menu:

First Course: “Gammon and Eggs” with Claret Cheddar Sauce, Creamed Barley, Winter Greens

Second Course: Celery Root Soup with Spiced Pecans, Cranberry Preserves

Main Course: Young Lamb Rack with Mushroom Chestnut Dressing, Apple Brandy Gravy, Squash, Cabbage

Sweet Finish: Sir Scott’s Christmas Pudding
