Looking for more ways to enjoy a Charleston date ‘over’ night? Our Innkeeper Noreen offers a few tips:
“For a fun morning or afternoon activity, take a walk down King Street! Right now, post 4th of July sales are everywhere, making for some really great shopping. While you’re out and about, try one of my favorite restaurants – King Street’s CO Noodle Bar. Delicious Vietnamese food – perfect for a flirty lunch date.
Couples who exercise together can set off to explore the peninsula on a beautiful 5k loop. The route spans from Colonial Lake, down the Battery, up East Bay Street, down Calhoun Street and back around to the Wentworth Mansion.
After your dinner at Circa 1886, walk around Colonial Lake (just two blocks away from the Wentworth Mansion) or take a sunset cruise on Schooner Pride. Two magical ways for locals to experience Charleston – from a different perspective than usual.”
