Charleston Summer Concert Series

Memorial Day usually means the beginning of the summer season, but not here in Charleston. Charleston has dozens of outdoor concerts all around the city and of all genres. These events usually start in late May and continue through the rest of the summer. Both WEZL’s free concert series, “Party in the Park” and Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina’s “Party at the Point” have become a seasonal tradition, with lots of music, food, beer, and fun! “Party in the Park” happens every Tuesday in June at the Mt. Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park—2018 dates are June 5, 12, 19, and 26. Lounge on blankets and lawn chairs while you groove to the music of country and western singer and reality TV star Chase Rice. Additional entertainers include Maddie & Tae, Carly Pearce, and High Valley.

Also, don’t miss Charleston’s “Happy Hour Concert Series” on the beachfront at Charleston Harbor Resort. “Party at the Point” happens every Friday through June 29, and will feature The Bridge Homegrown Night with Guilt Ridden Troubadour and Sideshow Americans on June 8, Reggae Night with The Dubplates on June 15, 20 Ride: Zac Brown Tribute Band on June 22, and Sol Driven Train with Fusion Jonez on June 29.
