Farewell, Sarah!

Sarah Davis, a beloved member of the Charming Inns family, is wrapping up her last week as a King Street Concierge. Sarah has been an integral part of our team for over twenty years, but she has decided to start a new adventure. Both we and our guests will miss our sweet Sarah. Sarah has seen it all at Charming Inns. In 1992, she joined the John Rutledge House Inn team. She later began her stint on King Street, starting first at the Victoria House Inn (which is now a wing of the Fulton Lane Inn) and transitioned into her concierge position between the Fulton Lane Inn and Kings Courtyard Inn. Sarah is consistently praised by our visitors for her expert advice in navigating downtown Charleston. She has always been a friendly and familiar face for our returning guests. A repeat guest said wrote on Facebook, "Sarah will be missed! She was there 20 years ago at Victoria House when we went on our honeymoon, and every trip since then including our 20th anniversary this summer. Thank you for your help through the years!" A Fulton Lane Trip Advisor reviewer wrote, "Praises to Sarah- who knew almost everything about Charleston. She tirelessly set guests up with restaurants, tours, shopping, airport shuttles and special events - including two weddings during my time there. I cannot find enough words to compliment her for making my week long stay such a success..." And as Rick Widman, the "Dad" of Charming Inns said at Sarah's farewell party, "Once a part of the Charming Inns family, always a part of the Charming Inns family." Join us in bidding Sarah adieu and wishing her the very best of luck. We'll miss you!
