Labor Day is over and the summer season is nearing its end, but our temperate climate here in Charleston is ideal for year-round outdoor fun. This month we're offering our guests a large selection of fun, family-friendly activities, starting with the final session of Shaggin’ on the Cooper on September 8. Say goodbye to summer with a fond Charleston tradition: groovin’ and movin’ to your favorite dance tunes at the Mount Pleasant Pier. Next, buy your tickets soon for the Beyond the 2nd Annual Big House Tour on September 15.

This year, the Prints in Clay experience will be a part of the tour and will spotlight the singular historical and cultural contributions made to the area by African-Americans. Also, find unique jewelry, vintage collectibles, artisan-crafted items, handmade clothing, plants, and more at the Thrifters & Drifters Fall Market at the Royal American on September 23. Afterward, enjoy an exquisite meal at our own Circa 1886, where a lighter-but luscious, gourmet version of Lowcountry cuisine is served in one of the City’s loveliest historic settings. For more information or reservations, call (843) 853-1886.
