Thanksgiving Weekend in Charleston

The greatest of holiday gatherings is just around the corner: Thanksgiving. When the Wentworth Mansion was built in 1886, it served as a home for the Rodgers family- all 15 of them. Though the rooms in the home have been transformed from music rooms, nurseries and parlors to 450+ square foot guest rooms, the Wentworth Mansion still feels like home. Holidays feel as special as you'd imagine them to have been over a century ago. You may be in the lap of luxury at a 21-room inn, but you'll feel as though you're staying in the lavish guest room of your favorite aunt and uncle. Think, sun pouring through our breakfast room in the morning, cup of coffee and warm cinnamon rolls in hand. Drinking wine in the afternoon and indulging in pie and hot toddies with fellow travelers. Curling up in a cozy robe and king size bed, fireplace roaring beside you at night. The Wentworth Mansion has all the comforts of a cozy holiday home here in Charleston. What more could you ask of a Thanksgiving retreat? Whether you're in our company for Thanksgiving Eve and Day or are relaxing the weekend after, we are offering special overnight rates for the entire week. Sleep peacefully following a feast of turkey and cranberry sauce, or take refuge after a day of Black Friday shopping on King Street. Our staff will make this year's Thanksgiving Weekend a memorable one. Here, you're always a member of our extended family. Visit our website to take advantage of these special rates. After the buzz from Thanksgiving settles, we have a full calendar of holiday events. Might we suggest our 27th Annual Progressive Dinner, which makes a dinner stop at our restaurant Circa 1886 for a three-course holiday meal. The experience is available nightly starting November 30th through December 22nd (a few dates have already sold out!) Take a look at the menu here.
